Magniloquence MAGNILOQUENCE Biography Magniloquence: HeroineReal world name – Priscilla Margaret HawthorneSuperheroic characteristics: Super strength, super skin of steel, flight, and super-breath. [No super-speed, super-hearing, 57 varieties of vision, etc.] In fact, she is incredibly nearsighted and wears battery powered telescopic combat glasses.Appearance: Junoesque; larger than average in height; rounded and strong. Black/blue hair. As Magniloquence, she wears white boots and gloves and a purple spandex suit. Priscilla wears a pearl necklace, lavender dress, and low black pumps.Colors: purple and white.Superheroic Personality: Speaks using a grand, lofty and grandiose [over the top i.e. magniloquent] style. She is a commanding, bigger than life character, and has the need to live up to it. She is lawfully good with black and white morals; therefore she is charitable, is chaste, and is diligent in bringing evil doers to justice.Real World Personality: Victorian and proud of it. Although she touts niceness as Priscilla, she is not always successful.Real world job: Author of Pricilla’s Pearls of Common Courtesy, a Dear Abby/Emily Post/Miss Manners-like column in the newspaper.Faults and Problems: Lawfully good to the point of being lawfully stupid. Tries to be shy and retiring as Priscilla, but heroic indignation keeps breaking out. She is too tall and large to wear clothes off the rack, so she has to special order them from Aimée's shop.Allergic reaction to Leutetiumite - starts with sneezes and sniffles, then progresses to wheezing and choking.Attributes: charity, chastity, diligence, reverence, and righteous anger. She is a Tee-totaler [imagine the problems with drinking and flying].Phrases: Goody gumdrops. Piffle sticks. Snicklefritz. Sweet heavens. Fiend seize it!Reference: mag·nil·o·quence [mag-nil-uh-kwuhns] noun; a style of speaking or expression using a grand, lofty or grandiose style; pomposity; bombasticity; boast. 1650–60; back formation from Latin magniloquentia--meaning elevated language, equivalent to magniloquus--speaking grandly.
